2. Scopes.

The system trouble-free works on a railway transportation, on 18 diesel locomotives such as ЧМЭ-3 (capacity of the engine of 993 kW) since February, 2003 and on the automobile MAN F-2000 (capacity of the engine of 318 kW). The given system can be used for start of carburettor and diesel engines of internal combustion automobile, railway and a sailing charter, machines and devices of other industries using the given type of engines (diesel engine - power station, a motor-pomp, combines and so on).

3. The description.

Essence of development in change of structure of start-up of the engine and a galvanic outcome of accumulator battery (AB) and stores of energy (condensers) - division their energys with an opportunity of management of everyone. Start of the engine occurs only from condensers. The accumulator battery does not participate in start-up. Therefore, the opportunity in general has appeared to refuse use starting AB for start of engines. It is applied traction (lighting) AB which has considerably smaller dimensions and cost. It provides a feed of circuits of management and a charge of condensers only at the first start-up (after long parking) and in case of unsuccessful start. In case of successful start-up of the engine condensers are charged from own generator of a vehicle, and AB does not spend energy and for a charge of condensers.

4. Advantages.

Most close to offered technology condenser systems of start-up of the engine with sharing starting the accumulator battery and stores of energy (condensers) stand. The basic defects of these systems are:

· participation AB in start, from here low reliability of start-up (at failure of start-up and weak AB the second attempt of start-up can not be);

· necessity of application starting AB;

· impossibility of start-up at significant voltage reductions AB;

· fast failure of condensers (for diesel locomotives).

To advantages of offered system concern:
exception of participation AB in start;
refusal of use starting AB and application traction AB;
impossibility of a conclusion out of operation AB and condensers;
full absence starting mode of operation AB repeatedly increases her service life. Service life of condensers practically is not limited in comparison in due course lives of a vehicle. (the Manufacturer of condensers guarantees 300000 cycles a charge – discharge).
small internal resistance of stores of energy (condensers) in comparison with internal resistance starting AB, independence of capacity of condensers of temperature and a dosed out power consumption traction AB in case of unsuccessful start-up (the quantity of start-up can reach 30 – 40 and more) make transport practically impregnable (in sense of start).
increase in reliability of a feed of circuits of management and system of charge AB (exception of cases starting contactors welding and, as after-effect, full discharging AB (for the diesel locomotives), significant reduction of erosion of power contacts of a starter (for the automobile), unloading of a voltage regulator and the generator of AB charge);
As the result of reduction of work of transport idling significant economy of fuel owing to reliability of start-up (from 25 %) and reduction of emissions in an atmosphere;
Economy of two (2) starting accumulator batteries at installation of one system of start-up;
Increase in a resource of work of a diesel engine of a diesel locomotive in 1,5 - 2 times;
Reduction of weight of a power source of start-up of a vehicle in 1,5 - 2 times;
There is an opportunity of external start from any automobile;
application currentless and contactless switching does system of start-up highly reliable.
Analogues are unknown (result of patent expert examination).

5. A stage of development.

The basic research works are lead. 18 pre-production models for a diesel engine of diesel locomotive ЧМЭ-3 of 993 kW (1250 h.p.) work as capacity in commercial operation during 2003 – 2008 y. and the automobile MAN F-2000 of 318 kW (400 h.p.) work as capacity in commercial operation during 2005 y. There are responses enginemans and managements of depot and services of locomotive facilities of Gorky Railway, calculations of economy of fuel and the general economy as a result of introduction of system (are placed on a site to the address www.start-up.com.ru). The engineering specifications on manufacture of devices and modernization of diesel locomotive ЧМЭ-3 are prepared. If necessary (with entering little changes), the system can be quickly adapted for other types of diesel locomotives, and also ships. Tests and completion of an automobile variant are made.

All works are lead by the private order to absence of any financing.

Positive decisions on delivery of patents from 01.06.2004 on « Method for starting a transport means engine » of A.V.Shevyakov, the application of the Russian Federation № 2003128554 from 23.09.2003 and « Starting device for transport means » of A.V.Shevyakov, the application of the Russian Federation № 2003128556 from 23.09.2003 are received. The international patenting both applications with priorities of the Russian applications proceeds. Now the given system equips one more party of diesel locomotives such as ЧМЭ- 3 in locomotive depot Gorky - Sorting.

9. System installation and the price.

The system is established in break of connection between positive plug AB and a starter and does not render any influence on other systems of a vehicle. An installation time of system on a diesel locomotive - three (3) day together with painting of shaft AB at presence of ready components. Cost of system for a diesel locomotive without an overhead charge and taxes of
301800 roubles.
